Im a gaming channel and I spent 60+ hours on just the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but gameplay for a video recently. Then another 20-30 hours editing it probably. So if somebody says they spent 10 hours on a video, it doesn’t mean a lot to me without knowing the video topic. 3 hours of recording usually takes me 10 – 15 hours to conceptualize, cut, find the right music for each part, differentiate it as much as possible from the previous videos, etc. It was a full challenge run of a game. I didn’t record the entire 65 hours, that’s just how long it took for me to do the playthrough. I recorded all the key fights and moments in the run, but had a bunch of “busywork” fights that weren’t worth putting in the video but still had to get done If you spend 10 hours on something uninteresting, it is still gonna be uninteresting. You could also spend 100 hours on a video then take 1 minute to come up with a thumbnail and title, and those 100 hours you put in aren’t gonna matter at all. YouTube isn’t for everybody and most “Newtubers” will wash out before they ever get close to monetization. You gotta love making this stuff, you gotta be willing to learn and improve, and you gotta make content for people, not just a channel for yourself.
Spreadin Seeds shirt: Perfect for Fans
Marketing 101. No one cares about your business or your story. They care about what you can do for them. Because we’re all inherently selfish af haha Eh that’s not true. That only applies if you are selling something. A YT documentary about WW2 or how a car engine works is not ‘selling anything’ so viewers aren’t expecting that WW2 doc to make them a better person or teach them a new way to handle finances or something. They’re expecting to be entertained or learn something about WW2. If a viewer isn’t benefiting in some way they’re gonna turn in off. To reply to the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but person above, who said it only applies if you’re selling something, is that not what we are doing? Aren’t we essentially selling people content for their time? Your thumbnail is basically a gateway to the product you are selling, and the goal is to get people to buy in by clicking and watching.
Unless any of you in this comment chain are marketers let’s be frank that none of you know what you’re talking about. I’ve gotten you guys to buy stupid shit I wouldn’t give to my grand mother, let alone a stranger. But you still bought it and probably use it on a daily basis. Marketing 101 is “Mr. whipple, squeeze this!” by Luke Sullivan is required reading and Helmut Krone is God. Marketing 102 is Luke Sullivan is a dumbass and Helmit Krone is bullshit. Marketing 200 to 400 is all about how to make marketers feel okay about the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but fact that they’re using almost MK Ultra tactics to get you to buy stupid shit. I sleep at night because I know marketing isn’t even the most evil clients I’ve had.

Some information about Spreadin Seeds shirt
Look friends, this isn’t gate keeping, this is just facts. If you want to know how to twist the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but knife in the brain of humanity you don’t look to a marketing or advertising course; you take a psychology elective. Until you can sell snow to an Inuit you don’t know dick about shit. Because Gentlemen that is what you are up against. Not just the platform that’s its own special monster, but you’re up against the entire global advertising apparatus. Other channels? Mr. beast? That’s not your competition. Your competition is the multi-trillion dollar leviathan of industry that’s been skull fucking your mind since you were able to be a source of disposable income. You lost the game before you even started.
So hike up your socks boys. Grab your sword tight. And be ready to look this lovecraftian horror dead in its eyes and say “No. No fuck YOU”. Because anything less will send you naively into its maw or dash you repetitively against the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but rocks until you don’t have another penny to spend and you’re not the juice worth a squeeze. You can fight this. You can beat this. The weapons and tools exist and you can beat them at their own game. But you all need to wise up and start being smart about it. They offer their own weapons cache, it exists in every university that offers advertising courses, you can find their book list of required reading online. But it’s time you all grow the fuck up fast and start using their tools against them. I have close to under a trillion views under my belt and I was paid a kings ransom for it. Don’t let someone like me fuck you out of what’s yours, learn their tools and methods, fight back! Take what’s yours! Read everything. Work at these companies, steal every concept not nailed to the floor. Don’t let me make another paycheck off of you, I beg of you. Go to war. I believe in each and every one of you.
Wishful thinking, but no one’s killing this monster. If it does die, it will be from natural causes, over the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but course of centuries or millennia. Things don’t change as fast as one would like. Sometimes they look like they might be changing, but all that’s really changing is the colors. It’s not about killing it, it’s how anyone on YouTube gets paid, ad revenue. But people here don’t need to be victims to it. Thanks for the book idea, I have never heard of it. (Makes sense, I am not in marketing.) Do you think this book would be helpful to any Youtuber? Sorry to be specific, but I film golf matches and try to edit them in a fun and entertaining way. No educational value. I’m pretty much just trying put out a fun video that people will enjoy watching. In your opinion, should I be reading them? Thanks.
if people like your videos you can get 100k subs in 2 years…hell, 5 months…and THATS the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but harsh truth because what does that say about people who’ve been doing this for 4 years with less than 100 subs? it says people dont like your videos no matter how good or bad the editing, the time, the animation. time had nothing to do with it. thats when to quit or pivot. I mean if someone is trying to do it for a career or serious hobby I’d say stop … but if someone just posts a random video here or there that takes minimal effort to make and over the span of 4 years they have 100 subs, that’s pretty good. Preach it. 90% of the posts in here are all like, “I’ve followed all the steps from Influencer X and my content has everything it needs to be viral, but YouTube is not showing it to millions of people like it should be. Why does YouTube hate me and suck so much? I make content just like Influencer X, honestly better, but the algorithm is holding me back. Is it because of my location? Is it because of my religion? Is it because of the color of my skin? Is it because of my age?” It’s because your content sucks. You need to humble yourself and accept the truth so you can learn from your mistakes and move on. If you are too arrogant to accept the truth and deny that you are even making mistakes, then you’re never going to go anywhere, period. You can keep blaming whoever and whatever you want, but that’s never going to change the fact your content sucks. You can only change that by taking action and improving yourself and your content.
Totally agree. The vast majority here need to humble themselves and admit their content isn’t half as good as they think it is. Whenever they come asking for critiques and you point it out, they get defensive instead of taking the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but opportunity to improve. I understand what OP and others are saying but doesn’t someone need to watch and deem that it sucks or the algorithm just knows? If you’re just starting out, Youtube is gonna focus on getting impressions out to find an audience that would like your videos. In fact, you’ll sometimes see it where a video will say that it’s currently showing impressions to a wider audience, though it may not necessarily affect your view count. I only just recently noticed (after 30 videos) that my stuff was being shown a lil more to a more consistent audience. Eh that’s not true. As a new channel w/ no established watch patterns/categorization, YouTube is almost certainly not going to push your content to more than a few dozen impressions day 1. They just have no clue who you are. You may get relegated to search term only lookup. Now on YT Shorts that might be different, but most everyone here wants good view #s & subs on desktop, not Shorts.
glad i’m not the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but only one who thinks its gone a bit too far with the oh youtube hates my videos or they were “shadow ban” Take the case of Pirate Software. His shorts were exploding and his channel was about to hit 1 million subs (from 13k within a few months mind you) when suddenly his shorts stopped getting shown to new people. He took to Twitter and called out YouTube for this seemingly artificial trend, and it was corrected. Why did it happen? Who knows? I’d like to believe that it was either a glitch or an overreaction based on some kind of protection aspect of the coding, one that tries to prevent “cheating”. In most cases, the average uploader is just posting garbage that no one wants to watch, but there is room to believe that the AI running the show isn’t as “I” as we’d all like it to be. Well you can’t blame people for thinking that way when what happened to him looks exactly like what’s happening to them.
Very often when I click over to the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but Videos tab on a successful channel, they started uploading 8 years or more ago. Thats what I like about this. As you do your thing, you learn how to make entertaining videos which helps in case you ever start a new channel for example. I learn editing, script writing and presenting my stuff while pursuing my hobby. Yep! I never opened a video editor program in my life until last year when I wanted to make a video about a zipline I did. I’ve learned what feels like tons of skills in the past year, but that’s probably 1% of what I could do… Only 0.28% of channels have over 100,000 subscribers. I really don’t think it’s anything most of us have to ever worry about getting to.
Subscriber count is possibly the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but most worthless metric these days. I’m surprised that YT still uses it as a monetization requirement and that they still give out plaques for hitting subscriber milestones. Subscribing isn’t required any more to keep up with the channels you watch. Also, YT is littered with channels that have 100k+ subs but their videos can barely hit a few hundred views. This marathon is still dependent on talent or at least a personality. I’m 7 years in and no one seems to think I have either based on my subscriber count and views. This is probably the best “harsh truth” post I’ve seen here yet. Yours essentially boils down to “keep pushing, no one makes it overnight.” Whereas other posts I’ve seen were like “give up, you will never make it.” It’s easy for people to just blame “the algorithm” instead of consider for even a second that it’s anything on their end.
Very well said! YT is a journey, instead of worrying about getting x number of subs or viewers just enjoy the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but journey. I’ve loved the learning process of it all. I somewhat disagree. While yes, I think people should get over their entitlement to subscribers or views and get to working, I think it’s possible to make it profitable for you and optimise your success in a way shorter span. It’s all about mindset. You should always have what’s called a growth mindset. Look at the analytics, what is that saying? I hate to quote Mr beast but he made a great point when he said, to become great at YouTube, make a good number vídeos and try to improve one thing in each, and that’s a good thing to live by.
Many people, and everyone has been a victim of this, after working hours on a video think that the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but video is perfect. But there’s so many things that could be wrong. Look at your niche and think, what makes my content stand out from the next person. I know this one girl who started asmr early last year. Asmr is a massively oversaturated niche, but she’s at 400k subs now. Part of it is cos she’s good looking, but most asmrists tend to be. The real answer is because her stuff is very different from most, quick trigger and very interactive. Depending on your niche, you could optimise your video to put yourself in a better position to do well. MANY people suffer because they don’t tag their videos properly. Many suffer because their thumbnails are terrible. Or the scripts they make are poor and beat around the Bush. There’s always something. Now when you blow up could still vary obviously but you could definitely put yourself in a better position to do so with the right mindset and knowing WHAT to fix, and I don’t think just saying put out content is good advice.
this was more just to tell off people who just complain and do noething to change. oh my views are bad, oh my subs are going down, ect. just hate to see it Oh fair enough then. I got the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but vibe that you were just saying that it doesn’t matter and shit and they should just keep posting. In that case I agree. The algorithm is strict, because it has to regulate so much content but you can put yourself in the right position to succeed for sure, even in a short period yeah text is not best for tone which is like half of english. i have now ban “algorithm” you shall not be allowed to use it. Anybody who’s been on this sub for more than 2 days knows all of this already. Half the posts are “i spent x time on this and it’s not blowing up” (life isn’t a meritocracy, we all know that, at least we should) and the other half are “you’re all whiney boo boo babies.”
Like god. No matter how you slice it this sub has devolved into being entirely unhelpful and just screaming at people. There are no tips, no motivation posts anymore, no win-stories, no talking about the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but different editing softwares like capcut vs premiere pro vs davinci resolve, nothing useful or of substance at all, and it’s because it’s flooded with posts just like this. Heres something to digest for yourself. Why make the videos at all then, if you acknoledge you need all kinds of skill to be worth watching, why not focus your time on developing how to do that, instead of focusing on videos? Huhhhhhhh maybe some have no patience as they want to get many sub very fast because some are very desperate to get monetized and I can see countless videos that get many sub very fast because of many how video” I was on how to teach us to make you thumbnail and make better edit to get view niche and boom they get fast subscriber. I can see the main reason why they want to get sub because they want to get monetized to get ASAP as must as possible and it eat thier mental stress to think on how will they get the audience attention.
“ if you can make 1 video then you can make 10,000. you will get better and you will improve even if you don’t feel it.” This is the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but key takeaway, other than you know, don’t feel sorry for yourself. If you make a single video, be proud in the fact that you have made something that has never existed before. You have fundamentally altered the course of time and space itself by merit of it existing, even if you are the only one to see it. Your content now exists as bits and bloops on a server somewhere that now has its molecules changed to contain YOUR content. Be proud of that. You had a hand in changing the universe itself. Now stop trying to get rich quick and make more things. Universe isn’t going to alter itself.
In my view, “Copying” or better “taking inspiration” it’s ok to refine your skills and find your own style. Agreed, it takes tears to perfect and only stubborn people will achieve it. Nicely said, people need to hear this though. It’s kinda the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but same in music, 20 years ago I met so many guys that were 100% sure they were making it. I was in one of those bands and we all thought it was a possibility but some people we played with 20, hell even 10 years ago (in a different band) thought that it was gonna happen tomorrow and generally these bands were together for months not years and thought the 1 song they had that was gonna hit and that would be it. 20 years ago we came close, but that was after 5+ years of shitty shows, shitty demos, member changes blah blah. These channels that expect equal views for equal the effort put in to making them is funny to me. Unless your lottery lucky it takes dedication and at least a little drive to be noticed in anything. All of this is coming from being a musician a majority of my life so I get it. Bring a YouTuber is a new thing for me and have 0 expectations. Been on a year, in the last month I doubled my subs. Not to sound like an old dude but younger people are weird. They need instant gratification. Slow down
ive been doing yt for almost 4 years with on and off regular posting over 3 channels. I might make a follow up to this to really explain how youtube works. but then again it would mostly be memes and throwing shade at people. so maybe not I’m so glad to see more and more people realizing that spending a month making a highly edited video is absolutely nuts, if they don’t already have a massive following. God bless you for that lol. Personally, I have multiple channels, but am mainly a reviewer of horror movies, on my current channel project. I don’t edit anything. And I think it’s way more personable and enjoyable because of that. My audience seems to think so, too. Surprisingly enough, growth isn’t slow by much, this way, despite what people may say. It all kind of depends on what you consider “quick growth”. I’m almost at 550 subs, and the Spreadin Seeds shirt it is in the first place but majority of those subs seem to watch pretty faithfully, at the moment. Anyways, just wanted to thank you for dropping that out there, because I think it’s extremely important for the types of people whom come to this sub for help.
