I don’t wanna be that guy… But believe me, in any school I ever attended as a kid, you did not wanna be the Science Fiction Day Space Keep Calm Stars shirt moreover I love this kid who was into anime. I think most people who don’t care for it just find it irrelevant, but maybe roll their eyes at the fan “culture” that has emerged around it. It’s a wide medium, and although the best anime is pretty complicated and even kinda trippy, there’s a lot of real cheap bottom of the barrel stuff. Powers and strength based on feelings, cheap dead faced girls, harem and under age stuff, generic characters and trope plots. Annoying typical anime bullshit. I had to stop watching FMA because of Edward doing that thing where he goes all chibi and starts yelling at people for calling him short. Apparently that is one of the anime that is held in extremely high regard.

Science Fiction Day Space Keep Calm Stars shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Seems like the Science Fiction Day Space Keep Calm Stars shirt moreover I love this typical japanese cartoon humor is simply not your thing… and thats okay, different things for different people, to each their own and all that jazz 🙂 That’s not joking either. People have been telling me there’s differences between something that is hard hitting like Ghost in the Shell and Akira, vs other shows that are either ecchi focused or run into the ground with the usual tropes that disgust them. How much is so many? People like and dislike genres and anime while its technically not a genre but a style has created its own genre with its own tropes and themes(shonen etc). I personaly love classics like akira or ghost in the shell, but i dislike the stereotypical teenage drama anime where noone behaves like a normal human adult, people have speaking animals companions and all womem are hot school girls with issues and a crush on the main character.
