Honestly, high price and brands don’t guarantee good quality. Budget fast fashion brands also can be great quality. I have a viscose H&M turtleneck that has lasted a decade, which I wear and machine wash 1-2x a week! Some expensive shit I bought hadn’t even lasted 2 years with CAREFUL washing. I had a pair of pants from Elizabeth Suzann get worn out SO fast. I think a lot of fashion communities see synthetic fibers as an instant no — but they can really help add some longevity and/or affordability to a piece of clothing. I also think it’s easy to fall for branding or not wanting clothes made in X country. Sezane imo is a good example of good branding, but the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this quality is often just ok. My opinion on the J Crew Cashmere – I have four of their cashmere sweaters I have had for more than five years that are in fantastic condition even having been worn a lot. OTOH I bought one of the featherweight cashmere sweaters 2 years ago and I donated it – if you looked at it funny it pilled horribly. I knit so a few pills don’t bother me much, but this was pilling at a rate that I knew would destroy the sweater pretty quickly. All that said if you can find an older featherweight secondhand that looks smooth rather than fuzzy go for it. I regret getting rid of the one I used to have even though it was a color I never wore.
Save the planet nuke india earth shirt: buy and enjoy this shirt
None of those brands are what I’d categorize as “cheap fashion.” Cheap fashion, to me, is H&M, drop shipping, anything by Shein. Madewell is pretty good, quality wise. I’m replacing a couple pairs of jeans right now that are wearing out in unfortunate places, but I’ve had them for 3-5 years, and this is expected for pants I wear several times a week in the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this winter. Most of my cashmere sweaters are from Everlane, at least 4-7 years old, and cost about $100. They’ve lasted fine with minimal pilling and shape loss. I haven’t had any shrinkage. I also handwash them only as needed and dry flat. The sweater I’ve had to use my sweater-shaver on the most recently is my Ralph Lauren thick wool/angora/cashmere I got on Thredup; but it shaved up a treat and looks great.
On quality, I’ve found the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this most problems with Anthro on that list, but “Anthro” is also a conglomeration of brands. You can look when you go in and buy in person: look for loose threads, seams that don’t match, puckered seams, and feel the fabric. Honestly, I have no idea what people are doing to their clothes because I shop at basic places like Target and Walmart and rarely do I ever have clothes falling apart. The only thing I refuse to switch brands on is underwear, of all things. I bought some from Aerie and they fell apart after two washes. My stuff from PINK/VS is still going strong, and I usually throw them away because underwear become inevitably gross after a while, not because of any fabric issues. i think it depends on the material more than anything. i have a few dresses from madewell (one is silk, one is all (or mostly?) cotton) and both have held up for years and don’t look any different than when i bought them. that being said i’ve bought some t-shirts from them and one pair of jeans years ago and they look like junk lol. the jeans are comfortable, but they look way worse in half the time than a pair of gap jeans i thrifter and have had for twice as long (just as an example).

Description for Save the planet nuke india earth shirt
my experience with sezane has been positive so far, but i do treat them very delicately since they cost so much. if i wore them like i wore most of my clothing, i don’t know how they’d hold up over time. j crew i’ve primarily thrifted and they’ve held up pretty well. anthropology as well. my favorite jeans right now are a thrifted pair of anthropology jeans. overall my favorite for quality is everlane. i buy primarily when they’re discounted, and i don’t think i’ve ever had a bad experience with their clothing. i did have a t-shirt from them that ended up getting little holes in it, but i was pretty reckless with it and got years of wear from it regardless. Yes. And for the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this love of all things holy, AVOID FAKE LEATHER. Not only is it shoddy and will only last about a year or two tops, it’s extremely toxic to all living things, including people. I’m a wildlife biologist and I did my thesis on the stuff. I’d set out to find whether PVC and PU were indeed better for humans and the environment than real leather, and boy was I shocked by the findings.
At every level, from sourcing raw materials to manufacturing to ordinary wear, fake leather is absolutely atrocious. It off gases fumes that the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this EU and EPA describe as “no save level of exposure”. Yet they still allow clothiers to practically drape us in the stuff. Patent leather is EVERYWHERE in fast fashion. I think it’s far better to invest in a few really high quality pieces that will last for years and years, that can be coordinated into multiple outfits each. I bought a beautiful leather trenchcoat that goes with everything I own, and I thrifted several Moschino, Coach, and Gucci shoes that are extremely well made and I’ve had since 2010. Each brand can really vary. Rather than focusing on the brand name I try to look at each piece because things like fiber content and construction are factors that can determine the quality and longevity. I tend to avoid most synthetic knits because a lot of those fibers (especially acrylic) will pill quicker. Fabrics like woven viscose and rayon are common because they give a similar hand to cotton but have a bit more drape, but personally I find them a little harder to care for vs a woven cotton fabric. Free People is expensive but most of their fabrics are TERRIBLE. Lots of cheap, thin, synthetic blends. But they do have some pieces that are 100% cotton that I might buy now and then. I just bought a pair of Old Navy jeans that are 100% cotton for $13 and I love them and plan to keep them for a long time. I’m predicting they might hold up decently because in other pieces, elasticity in stretch fabrics breaks down over time especially if you’re throwing these pieces in the dryer. It’s not always practical to get jeans with no stretch like the ones I found, but that’s just a personal preference I have as a shopper thinking about the long term.
I am thrifter and fast fashion shopper. Rarely will I buy something new, and if I do, it is from Burlington, Maurices, something like that. My clothes hold up pretty well. I wash regularly and usually dry almost everything except bras and hoodies. I also wash everything on cold and air dry most of my things (minus socks, some pairs of underwear, and my lazy/sleep clothes). I also have a Madewell dress and several tops- I believe I’ve had the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this dress for 6 years and the tops for 3. All in great shape! I have a Free People sweater that I’ve had for at least 10 years- it’s my absolute fave and is amazing condition. How you care for an item definitely affects how long it lasts, but I think there’s also a huge difference between clothing from fast fashion brands 10-15 years ago vs now. I have a $17 midi dress from F21 that I bought circa 2009-2010 that you’d never guess was “fast fashion.” The fabric is thick, has classic lines and doesn’t have that clingy jersey feel that most cheap midi dresses have today. I also think that the difference in quality between intermediate brands like Madewell/Anthro/BR and budget brands is not as stark as it once was, and certainly not proportional to the cost difference. (Not clothing, but there was an Anthro bar cart that I deeply coveted, until I stumbled on the same exact product on Wayfair for $100 less. The scales fell from my eyes that day, friends.)
I can get things to last a good while. I have a laundry rule that if I rely on the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this elastic of an item, I hang dry it. Leggings, sports bras, undies, all of these I hang dry. I think with good care, you can get items to last you a long time. I make a lot of my own stuff, and before I learned to hang dry most of it, the fabric would be faded after two years, and I would be replacing the elastic after 1 year. So I can imagine what it does to clothing that has the elastic woven into it. I have had a Shein shirt for 2 years that looks great after regular wearing. I honestly think it depends on the exact product, how you care for it, and luck. Of those four I only shop from Madewell and J Crew my thing is they’re only worth it when they’re on sale. J crew every other day sends me a promo “SURPRISE! 60% off” …at this point there’s no surprise. But with those sales, the products are actually what they’re worth. Otherwise they’re ridiculously overpriced.
Cashmere, in general, if you don’t machine wash it (or if you use those dry cleaning bags and solution for the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this dryer), should be fine if you treat it delicately. Anthro stuff is hit or miss for me. I’ve seen stuff in the clearance section that’s already falling apart. Their denim and pants in general are fine in my experience, but their more delicate, sheer or lightweight knit tops tend to be a no-go. J Crew I’ve had better experience with. I’ve got a couple of casual sets from them that have lasted around four years now and they look like they did when i bought them. I’ve only gotten jeans from madewell but they’ve held up quite well too. Oh and steer clear from anything from anthro that involves sequins. They fall off and the stitches fray so quick I’m convinced they’re metallic cheerios and not actual sequins
I’ve bought clothes from Target that has lasted for years, surprisingly good quality, but they’re still definitely considered fast fashion, and definitely unethical fashion. There’s no way they’re making $8-10 t-shirts in Vietnam that isn’t made with sweatshop labor, otherwise there’d be no way to earn a profit from something that cheaply priced. I bet the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this person sewing the garment makes Pennie’s from each t-shirt. In my opinion, these brands sell low-quality clothes, even if they are classified as mid-tier. Yes, you can get them to last longer by taking care of them very carefully, but it makes me angry to take care of a €100 shirt (which is a lot) as it was the most delicate and precious thing on earth. If you take a look at their clothes : the quality of the fabric (the thickness, the softness, how it reflects light, etc.), the quality of the construction (how it falls on your body, how the buttons are sewn, the hems, etc.) --> it is not ENOUGH.
I put out a video today of me doing a voiceover without ai and someone left a negative comment on the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this video. Now it’s not my first negative comment and it won’t be the last and I know I need thicker skin and need to get use to it and not overreact but I did anyway. In fact I cried lol. I’ve always hated and been self conscious about my voice. I never liked hearing it recorded. To me it sound unconventional and ugly and I guess I’m not the only one who thinks so which made me feel defeated. I made a few community posts warning people. I guess they didn’t know what they’d end up hearing. I could go back to the ai but that has downsides. I could hire someone but that to me just feels like I’m quitting in a way and letting the negativity win and onto of everything going on in my life I’d like to catch a break. YouTube has kept me going. I don’t think I should let anyone take that from me. They don’t have to listen to my videos ever again. Hey maybe oneday they’ll take it back. At least I took the initiative to put my voice at all. Yes it was soooooo rough listening to it but I needed to hear myself for quality purposes. I wonder if that person could get on camera and try speaking and letting themselves be seen and heard. Maybe maybe not.
If a video pops up on my youtube page, I always open in a new tab. If the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this voice is AI generated, I close the tab and select “Don’t recommend channel”. For all I know, the creator plagiarized a page from the web without even having to write it. What do you do if the video has no voice? only subtitles. Would you watch it? Just subtitles and soft piano music. I recently ditched AI voiceovers and only use subtitles. It’s too early to say if it has been a success. hmmm. I probably wouldn’t continue watching it (ie randomly popped up on my youtube page) but might if it’s something I searched for. I typically doing two things at the PC so listen mostly to youtube. I came across your latest video. If you make a scary theme, your voice won’t show the scary level of the story. Maybe that’s what happened when I watched your video.
Trying to do my first voicover today and I caught myself using exactly this “let’s be careful not to wake anyone” voice Someone said I have a ” flebile and mousy voice”. I was up till late at night recording my voice over lol. Some people just comment on whatever they want, you can’t control it. Just keep doing what feels good to you. It’s not that your voice is bad, you just need to train it a bit before recording. Try to practice speaking very clearly and it should help. If you have a script, don’t just jump into recording it, practice reading it until you can say it fluidly and clearly. Some people might dislike your voice, but EVERYONE dislikes AI voices. Work on your pronounciation and tone and dont give up! Need to actually see the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this video to confirm, but could it be that your audio quality needs improvement and not your voice? Firstly move further back from the mic, it sounds as though your trying to record in secret by pressing your mouth to the mic and speaking in a lower tone. Easy fix here, put your hand flat and distance your mic at least once hands width from your mouth. Keep this distance consistent each time.
Further audio improvements such as equalisation will help improve quality, have a look at some tutorials for EQ in whichever audio edit software your using. Secondly, practice your script. This will come more in time as you record more but right now there’s micro-pauses in places that are not natural within the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this cadence of the speech. With practice you’ll speak more naturally and stop less. Alright, okay, is your channel in your bio? I didn’t see it. If not, drop me a pm and I’ll have a look – and a listen – and see if I can help. I can’t make any great claims for being an awesome Youtuber but I do know a bit about sound and video. You want your background atmos to be under the intro graphic – I turned my amp way up thinking it was too quiet and then it was super loud. It should fade up a little quicker than the graphic, I guess, and you make be want some sort of FX over the “bumps” where you zoom the title up, big reverby thuds or something.
Let me walk you through a bit, starting about a minute in, that I’d like you to try and redo. Just a little bit! Less than a minute. Try what folk have suggested here, and see if it makes a difference. “I can’t explain the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this peace of mind I had knowing I didn’t have to brace myself for any of his stuidity. For a while. “(audible swallow) I was always afraid his stunts wihd wind up bleeding over into my life” The rest is pretty much more of the same, a bit stumbly. Practice reading the piece aloud until you find your inflexions, imagine telling the story to a friend rather than reading it off the page.
I know that video. Your voice is not bad but it seems that you don’t know how to use your voice. You can try to enroll in a voice-acting course to improve the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this control on your voice. Based on some of your post history, I’m going to say this is probably a bit tougher of a subject than it’d be for a lot of youtubers. It kind of sounded like your voice was tight/forced during the narration, rather than relaxed and smoothly talking. Could be nerves or something else, or that could be how you sound even when casually talking to friends. If it really is nerves and such, you could get over that with practice. Record yourself a bunch, even when not doing a video. Do multiple takes, and break up stories into sections you can redo if you need. The professionals do, so don’t worry about having to do this extra work. Some of your sentences had awkward pauses, like you were figuring out how to say the next words. Sometimes there were lip smacking sounds and such that could probably be edited out too. Things like that can draw people out of the story and start paying attention to how things are being said, rather than what’s being said. And lastly, with all sensitivity, if your voice isn’t going to get much deeper over time, then it might be a mismatch for the genre, but could do better with other genres or types of content. Mmm-hm. I think it’s a tough job for OP. There’s a comparison I really want to make but it sounds insensitive, so I won’t. I think OP’s voice sounds really suitable for the material, they’d get a job in any David Lynch movie. Your voice isn’t the problem, the audio quality is terrible. You need better mic or learn some post-production to improve the audio.
So, to summarize. It’s your time to learn. Don’t be sad because someone criticised you, you’ll aleays be criticised. Do your job, keep getting better and finally, you’ll reach that place. I like the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this voice, it’s unique and makes me want to listen. You would benefit greatly from an upgraded mic and practice, keep going! You’ll get better with practice. Get a good mike, and read up on treating your room so you don’t sound all echoey. I don’t think you would. In theory, people say this for support but in reality it doesn’t work like that. You say this out of principle but having watched the video, OP is right in worrying about this. I suggest people should not make this about AI vs people. It’s not relevant when it’s a video production issue. You should just look at it as content and evaluate accordingly.
I think in this case it’s not a mic or room issue. It completely about voice control. Needs practice as you said. listen to not-great recording of human vs AI all day. both has good and bad examples. I’m saying hard to generalize Even the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this well-edited ones (my partner works for a translations company that uses AI-generated voices to read out translated text, so I hear a lot of it) still sounds a bit “off” and uncomfortable to listen to. Mostly it’s because when things are translated into English it the same “yappy yelpy” American accent which is practically unintelligible. I’d rather just listen to it in the original language. I had a listen, I liked your voice – it’s unique sure, but I think that’s preferable to sounding like everybody else. I agree with one of the comments saying you could Improve your audio recording quality but again – that’s true for a lot of channels. Your pacing will get better over time. Please don’t stop though, ignore the trolls and definitely don’t use A I. I’ve yet to get a negative comment but I know from watching other new tubers that the most common one someone will say is about the voice. I think it’s because in there mind it’s the most “effective” way to insult and make someone conscious and sadly it works most of the time as we all hate our voice lol Like you said you need to not take it to heart and ignore it, vast majority of the time it’s just someone wanting to be a dick. If you want to take this comment as a call to action, like others have said some voice acting practise off camera or even singing lessons can help MASSIVELY when it comes to using your voice. Also learning a good equaliser that matches your voice is important as well to give it some volume and fluidity and not sound flat. Or if English isn’t your first language you can take some online or in person English speaking lessons to help out
Almost all humans hate hearing their recorded voice because how the Save the planet nuke india earth shirt Furthermore, I will do this ear canal works and how the brain have a perceived understanding of what one’s own voice is like (which is different from the actual voice). So you’re not alone! Record your voice, get used to it, try to improve how you talk/read, exercise. Also, if you are quite most of the time and only talk to record, your voice is not going to be at its best. Try re-recording once your voice box has relaxed and warmed up. For additional input search for voice over specialists on YouTube, there are some very experienced people sharing how to get better at it. About the audience and the negative comments: I am a man with a deep voice and people like it; my voice is basically why I have 25k subs in 1 year (I do audiobooks.) But when I started there were a lot of negative comments (deserved too, because I used my phone to record the first 7 videos and quality was bad and so much room to get improved). But through time I improved (got a mic) and the negative comments decreased, but still get them every now and then. Exercise, improve and be consistent, don’t give in to the negative comments. If need be, delete them lol.
