Let’s put it this way. I didn’t have an excuse in my last interview except that I have a crazy busy life with 3 kids and a 60+ hour a week job and we were going live with a project the Original robbie Ray Seattle Comic Signature T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this weeks before, so I didn’t have time to prepare. I told them as much in the interview as we were starting it, and they straight up offered to reschedule without an issue. You didn’t f up at all. You got sick. Cut yourself some slack, these things happen. And as others have said, if that’s their reaction, find something else. Wish you the best OP. Every time we hire someone, there are countless people who don’t make their slot. It’s really not a big deal for us, we just suddenly have an hour free. If they let us know beforehand, regardless of reason, it’s usually not a big deal to reschedule them.

Is this a 3rd party recruiter who is not an employee of the Original robbie Ray Seattle Comic Signature T-Shirt so you should to go to store and get this company? If he is, then i bet he is lying about the company blacklisting you. He probably is mad at you personally and wants to make sure he punishes you and that you don’t go around him straight to the company. I once had interviews with multiple companies and got two offers within a couple of days, worked with two consulting companies for the interviews. I changed my mind over which offer to accept and was told by the one I accepted and then turned down that they would never work with me again, etc. About five years later they contacted me for a contract role that I ended up working at for about a year. i’ve interviewed many candidates and would never fault a candidate for having a medical emergency that resulted in visiting the ER. seriously, if i WOULD fault a candidate for that then you shouldn’t want to work with me…. someday you’ll be working for an employer and for damn sure won’t want the expectation to be that you’ll come into work despite experiencing a medical emergency… again, it’s the recruiter who looks bad here. and that’s why they are lashing out at you. the company won’t blacklist you. at some future date if you do apply for another position at this company and they ask if you’ve applied before (pretty common) you can say “yes. unfortunately i had a medical emergency and could not complete the interview process. as i recall he recruiter really failed to do right by the company and by me. it was an enlightening experience which turned me off from random internet recruiters – i sure hope you guys aren’t using that guy anymore”.
