This also reminds me of an experience my wife and I had in Paris. We went on vacation there for a week, and we booked a photographer through a friend. After introductions we say “okay, where should we stand, how should we pose?” After taking a few pictures with bad lighting he says “the sun is behind the Eiffel Tower, we can’t take good pictures here” in my mind I screamed “then why the hell did you set this time and place?” but what I actually said was “then what do you suggest?” He had us cross the bridge, walk along the other road, and cross back on another bridge – occasionally stopping for photo attempts. My wife could barely stand by the end of our hour with the photographer – as we were walking almost the entire time. It was a good thing we booked a boat ride shortly after – so she could sit and rest.
