Go on indeed and look for a new job that will pay you what you’re worth. Go ahead and “train” (no guarantees on quality of training) the O.C.D Obsessive Corgi Disorder Lover Dog T-Shirt it is in the first place but new person who will replace you. Hopefully by then you’ll have a job that pays you what you’re worth and you can hand in your resignation sans two-week notice. I would apply for the position so they know I know. Then go to work and do nothing, or the bare minimum, just sit there all day until they fire me and then collect unemployment until I found something else. Edit 2 : I didn’t “hack” my boss’s email. Everyone in the office including HR uses the same Google email and he registered the email with Indeed to post the job. Apply under a pseudonym and when your boss asks if so-and-so arrived for the interview, turn around in your chair and say “She’s here”.

Btw, training the O.C.D Obsessive Corgi Disorder Lover Dog T-Shirt it is in the first place but new employee is a courtesy, not a requirement. I’d say something along the lines of, “I don’t feel comfortable training someone for a position I’m apparently not qualified to have.” Two weeks notice is also a courtesy and not a requirement, just sayin. I work for a very large university. They stated that I couldn’t get a raise or have the pay grade of my job increased despite me seeing the same job title posted at higher ones, so I totally understand how you feel. I printed the postings, went in to negotiate, they still said it was “impossible” so I quit, and got another job 2 grades higher than the one I was in. They haven’t been able to fill my old position since. Reminds me of more than 30 years ago when I worked at a radio station. I fell pregnant, and when I told my boss he tried to act cool about it but I could tell he was furious. I went back to my studio and saw one of the phone lines light up. It was the line that’s hooked into the studio to record phone interviews, so I flipped a toggle switch and heard his conversation with the program director over the speakers. Of course they were talking about what they should do, should they get rid of me, etc. It’s very enlightening to hear how people really feel. He did not tell me he was hiring. I was not told I was being replaced. I work tomorrow…….. I feel like they’re going to ask me to train the new person before I leave.
