I’ve been working out consistently 6 days a week for 12 years. It’s rough at first, but after a few months, you will start to see progress visually and with the My Dogs Think I’m Perfect Who Cares What Anyone Colors shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this amount of weight to can lift. Once you force yourself to do it for a bit then it just becomes routine, ultimately though you have to find your why. To look good? To live a healthy life for yourself? To live a healthy life for your kids? etc. I’ve been out of the My Dogs Think I’m Perfect Who Cares What Anyone Colors shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this powerlifting game for years since Covid. But I used to be able to accept the nonsense aversion to exercise, identify it, and ask myself “why is that here. What’s it’s purpose.” Realizing that your body just throws a temper tantrum when you want to burn calories on something that’s not running from a lion or something helps to overcome it. We don’t need to worry about that right now. I’ve been working out on and off for 6 months, about 3 on and 3 off. I don’t diet at all, I get 3-4k calories a day in pizza and junk food, yet my body fat is 14%. I do lifts I enjoy, calisthenics is fun and rewarding, I do some basic stuff with weights like bench, curls, etc. I enjoy the pump and I love how I look, much better than I did when I started, I gained about 12lb in muscle in the first couple months. I think you just have to find something you enjoy, like how I enjoy pull ups and my friend enjoys push ups, and train around that. Don’t take it too seriously, I don’t beat myself up if I miss a day and I don’t do nutrition at all, and I don’t follow a program, I just do what I want to do. I also spent $300 on a home gym so getting my money’s worth is a motivator.
