Is it a bit more work for us this way? Yep. But I dont think it’s for me to tell other humans what they like and don’t like. Unless your kids have legit nutritional/growth issues then I see no point in trying to control food. You’re arguing then up for food issues later on, IMO This happened to me. We also pushed her to be more flexible about what is served for dinner, and not just insist on her favorite things, which tend to be less healthy options.
