Marble changes depending on the Lehigh Valley IronPigs Pig Head Logo shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this individual stone. They all vary. When we picked out a kitchen bechtop we had to pick the actual piece of stone to make sure it was ok for us. Believe it or not, this stone might literally be from the same quarry. I learned this from a person who got a cracked countertop and replaced it from the same quarry. In the year and a half since the original stone was made the quarry had mined to a different layer and the stone marble had a different color and everything. They had to replace not only the counter-top but all the backsplashes and such so that the kitchen would match. My guess is that C+B has already made you agree to a lot of small print that protects them from having to accept the return, and that a court would deem that you received what you paid for. But it certainly can’t hurt to try. It’s got a vastly different mineral composition percentage at the absolute minimum. Quarry source doesn’t really mean much.

Fwiw, this applies to wood as well, sight unseen Hell, even when buying porcelain tile they say to buy from the same dye lot to ensure a more even appearance. It’s crazy for people to think natural materials will look even more uniform than man-made tile. It’s still white marble. I’m sorry it doesn’t look like in the picture, but like wood, marble is all natural, depending of the piece and how you cut it will look more white or grey. Once I had a customer that didn’t liked how the wood look so.. wooden the veins of the wood where too marked for her taste, and there was nothing we could do. For future purchases I would recommend a preview picture of the exact piece of marble or wood, so you can change your mind before it’s too late.
