She pretty much told me that my only option other than BC was “suffering”… Considering MORPHINE didn’t help enough with the pain during my rupture I reluctantly got on the birth control as I never ever want to experience that misery again. She then was whining the whole time she wrote the prescription about how I was being a baby and that going to the ER 1-2 times a year isn’t so bad and that worst case my ovary would be destroyed and that I’d have trouble having kids because of it…

Switched back to my old OBGYN after begging the medical director and after a good talk with my old OBGYN we eventually settled on a progesterone only pill that so far has relieved me of sooo much pain and misery. I’m so thankful it worked out for me in the end but it hurts me to know that it probably doesn’t for a lot of people in similar situations…
