I’d say 20 would be a good round number to cap the poll at, because lots of things come in dozens(so 10 isn’t really enough) and then you might want a couple miscellaneous options at the end. So an r/askreddit but with limited “canned” responses? Why? Targeted ads? Experience manipulation? Oh so lurkers can have a say and not be downvoted… Lame. People are going to vote, see results they disagree with and then downvote. Downvoting makes Reddit a huge echo chamber. It needs a “view results without voting option” otherwise a lot of empty votes just to see the curve will skew results
