I don’t see any mention of what this person’s views, beliefs, or stances will be in relation to these issues. Given that we would all agree diversity is much more than skin colour, should the primary method of increasing diversity in the leadership team not be from the approach of ‘diversity of opinion’? Is this not a much more fundamental and relevant way to increase diversity on the team? A Black person on the leadership team would be great, but this feels overly focused on a type of diversity that is supposed to be less relevant than most others.
