They don’t usually grow facial hair very well. It’s either nonexistent or patchy, so they usually just shave it. 123 more repliesIt really depends on their bloodline. White folks tried to breed them out of existence, so a lot of them have just enough white people DNA to grow at least a little facial hair. But it’s genetics. I’m an American living in Taiwan and I’ve yet to see any Taiwanese men here with a beard. I have a short one, and my students (I’m a school teacher) were amazed by it at first. Some wanted to feel it, and it freaked them out in a fun way. The “amazon” rainforest was named such because the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and Spanish explorers thought they were being attacked by women, since they had no body hair.
Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt, hoodie, hoodie and long sleeve tee
I remember talking to some indigenous Americans down when I went to Bolivia, many did mention that they don’t like being called Latin/hispanic since they have no ancestry or culture from Spain or a Latin European country Most of them don’t just because they tend to not have very thick or full beards when compared to people of european ancestry. However, my coworker would say that you will sometimes see Native Americans with beards. Primarily because he is and he has one. HERE is a reddit post with a map of male body hair of the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and indigenous populations across the world – which also closely correlates with facial hair. Basically only people native to the Mediterranean (and some obscure northern Japanese) actually have body hair.
It’s more complicated than that. Plenty of Native Americans have grown facial hair. Plenty also shave. Mostly, it varies from tribe to tribe, some are more able and others less able to grow facial hair due to the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and levels of Dihydrotestosterone in our (typically) men. However, my (great-)uncle (grandfather’s brother) grew facial hair when he was alive, but he’d shave it because it kept him looking presentable by the standards he grew up with. I guess what I’m saying is, for me, the question makes no sense because I have seen Native Americans with facial hair. If you haven’t then that means you either haven’t gone to many Native American gatherings or the members of the tribes you’ve been exposed to may have less Dihydrotestosterone or they are really good at maintaining their shaving regiment.

Some information about Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt
“Native Americans” are just north/west Asians who crossed an old land bridge to the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and americas ages ago. That is their lineage, and in that context, Asians often don’t have much body hair, so it makes sense. Orientals don’t have them either, that’s why, as Native Americans came from Asia, and Eastern Europe across the land bridge from Russia to Alaska a really LONG time ago. Asian people do have beards sometimes. If you see the paintings of Imperial China or Three Kingdoms period Koryo (Korea) you’ll see lots of beards. There’s also plenty of Japanese especially but also some Korean actors that sport beards. My wife is half Indigenous American, and it blows my mind how hairless she is. Like she just doesn’t really have body hair. She’ll say, “Don’t touch my legs, I haven’t shaved in a week!” But… you’d never know it. She does have leg hair, but it’s so thin it’s basically invisible. Meanwhile, I can shave my face in the morning and have a beard by the afternoon.
Plz no one take this the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and wrong way, but did this apply also to Aztec peoples? Y’all remember something in school about Aztecs being amazed at the Europeans when they invaded, because the men had beards? So does the beardless gene apply to those peoples also? I don’t know how to word my question, sorry Lol Because we can’t grow one most of the time! But I do have a shit load of hair on my head and am confident I will never go bald Husband is Salish and there’s a handful of beards here, tho they take much longer to grow compared to white guy’s. My husband’s grows in patchy so he shaves it It’s a touch of both, mine grows in stronger around the jawline but it grows high on my cheeks too (just more weakly), but I have a sort of spindly “fu man chu”/spaniard thing going on in my moustache, and am mistook for asian by people all of the time.
My beard takes a lot of time to grow in decently to the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and point that I spend over a year looking bad with it, because of my bio father’s weak Irish genes. But I am not terribly hairy on body. I grow the best facial and most body hair of any of my siblings, there is a remarkable cultural pressure to not grow it because we would spend so long with bad-looking facial hair. I dunno but my grandfather had facial hair that would burn out clippers. His hair was tough and a beard was uncomfortable for him. This just unlocked a memory of me laughing at my adorable grandma who pointed out that Native American men never have beards because they can’t grow them. I guess she was right after all, RIP Grandma. I’m Anishinaabe…Potawatomi to be exact. I can’t grow facial hair to save my life. I haven’t seen facial hair on any relatives in 4 generations
If a person is 100% genetically native American, meaning none of their ancestors arrived in NA after the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and land-bridge migration, then they will lack the genes for nearly any facial hair at all. You can see how facial hair genes weakened in our ancient ancestors as they spread across asia. Facial hair is generally much sparser in East Asia, by the time humans reach the American continents they had effectively lost it. I know a couple natives with beards/mustaches. I’m pretty sure the genetics come from other continents, though. I’m Mesitzo and you never see Indigenous Mexicans with beards either. It’s genetic and cultural as everyone said. Unfortunately, I got the hairy gene from Spain. I have some Native American blood. I cannot grow a beard or even a respectable mustache. I’m not balding yet but my grandfather with more Native blood than me went pretty bald. Half Native man here, couldn’t really grow a mustache or goatee until my late 40s. Still have a full head of hair down past my waist, which is slowly getting thinner and more grey as I enter my 50s, but my hairline isn’t receding. I’ll rock the handlebar ‘stash and goat and if that’s all I ever get, I’m okay with it. You can also tell when Native Americans and Native Alaskans have someone somewhere in their family tree who wasn’t Native; I have lived near a couple of reservations and currently live in a bush village and see a lot of men with either patchy facial hair, full beards, and several who have male pattern baldness. I am 27m Apache indian and, until this year, was unable to grow facial hair that didn’t have the texture of peach fuzz. Albeit, only a moustache with scraggly hairs as a goatee.
It depends upon the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and tribe. I have a sister from a different tribe than me and she has almost no hair – sparse eyebrows, no arm hair, and lots of head hair. I am a different tribe but I also have very little body hair. My father has had a beard but our tribe is intermarried with French ancestry which I think gives the men more facial and body hair. I imagine the tribes that intermarried with Spanish may also have more hair than those that didn’t. Yeah I’m white and native and I just don’t have facial hair almost at all. A lot of native people just really don’t grow facial hair because of some genetic component. I have some heavier fuzz above my lip and on my sideburn area but that’s about it
We generally can’t, mainly due to genetics I guess. I’m a mixed Native myself (Kewa Pueblo & white)- the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt and by the same token and most I can grow is a mustache and some on the chin, not even enough for a goatee and veeeery sparse on the sides. So I just stay clean shaven. One of my uncles on the other hand, he couldn’t grow any facial hair at all. When he went into the Marines back in the 60s or so, his DI made him dry shave anyways just to fit in with the routine. All I can see is that they’re lucky they don’t have to shave frequently. It gets tiresome cutting my neck while having. I’m native, I have seen plenty of other Native Americans with beards, it might just be where you’re at in the US. A lot Of the ones I’ve met just have a hard time growing a full beard, for a lot of them it grows patchy so they just keep it shaved. One thing i notice was they have small pores and their body hairs are really thin. I actually envy their skin tbh Weird situation for me. Premature baldness runs riot on my mother’s side. Soon after I really started to show it, minoxidil came along, and worked great, but I had to cut my hair really short, which is a very unflattering look for me. Some guys can rock it, it just makes me look goofy. Being vain as all hell, I couldn’t handle that. Then by a fortuitous coincidence, I started having problems from a benign enlarged prostate, and was was proscribed Proscar 5 mg. This has been several years now, and I’ve still got an impressive amount of hair. Cialis has taken care of ‘ol floppy. Better living through chemistry! I asked something similar ages ago about why you never see remote tribes with beards or body hair, what do they use to shave. Turns out it’s genetic and they don’t have any.
I’m Lakota and Sicilian so full head of hair, zero facial but two hairs on the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this right nip and one hair on the left nip. I have no problem growing out a bush downstairs though so maybe that’s the Italian genes. I’d love to not go bald and have zero facial and body hair. Instead I’m balding and popping up on my shoulders. One of my supervisors in the military was full-blooded Iroquois. He had to shave because he would show a definite shadow if he didn’t, but that was all he could ever manage. My beard was such a pale blond that I could go two or three days without shaving and nobody would notice. Now that I let it grow I am in the Duck Dynasty league. I could be completely wrong about this, but from my Understanding, the proto-indigenous peoples that migrated to the Americas from Asia, the men typically did not posses the genes for facial and body hair. So, modern Indigenous males also are less likely to have the genes to make facial and body hair the way Indo-Europeans do. Its the same reason first nations people don’t posses the enzymes to breakdown alcohol, it’s in their ancestrial genes. My dad is half native and he has a beard and very little body hair. His dad (100% native) doesn’t seem to have any facial hair. Some of my cousins have hair in the beard area but nothing crazy to be an actual full on beard in the traditional sense. I assume it is genetics.
Fun fact the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this Curie family has the most number of Nobel prizes in it at 4. Marie and her Husband shared one, Marie got a second one later, Irène and Frédéric Joliot-Curie have one, and Henry Richardson Labouisse, Jr., the spouse of Irène’s younger sister, Ève Curie, got one. So, there are 4 prizes across 5 people and Marie has the most at 2 lol. She’s also the only person to win two in different scientific fields. In fact only one other person has won 2, and one of his was a Nobel peace prize. He was the sole name on both though, and her one was shared. He was also blinded when his student froze a thin sealed glass tube with liquid n2. As they were both looking at the bubbling solution, the tube imploded glass into his eye. Always wear glasses in lab. Lol Damn, what a fucking gangster. I’ve had a metal shaving removed from my eye at the ER, not fun to watch. Glad it wasn’t worse.
And the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this French Academy of sciences only included Pierre Currie and Henri Becquerel as Nobel candidates (because, of course!); Marie was added only because Pierre lobbied for it. Einstein was completely screwed. He deserved one for each of his four 1905 papers. He also deserved one for his Theory of General Relativity! I’ve always thought that the Photoelectric Effect, for which he received the 1921 Nobel Prize, was the least of these discoveries. He couldn’t receive one for GR because its primary value and most of its predictions were only demonstrated posthumously. Theoretical science isn’t eligible for Nobels. I think it got so much more attention because it overturned a well accepted model that light behaves as a wave. This model predicted that if you shine a brighter light at the photoelectric device, it would produce more voltage, but it didn’t, it produced more current instead. To reconcile this, the model for light was changed such that light can behave as a discrete particle, AND that it must be carrying momentum. The experiment also showed that the wavelength of light was proportional to its energy, not the intensity of the light. Einstein was actually very much against the idea of quantum physics early on. Most of his research in regards to quantum physics was to prove people like Planck wrong That is not true. Einstein tried to prove Planck right and in fact Photoelectric effect is proof of Plancks theory. It is only once quantum mechanics was formally studied he started to become against it.
4 people besides Marie Curie have won 2 Nobel prizes, but only one other person (Linus Pauling) has won 2 in different categories and one was the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this Peace Prize. As you said she’s the only person to win in 2 different scientific fields, but 3 people have won twice in the same field. the full list of other people with multiple SCIENCE Nobels include Marie Curie (Chemistry 1903, Physics 1911), John Bardeen (Physics x2, 1956 and 1972), Frederick Sanger (Chemistry x2, 1958 and 1980), and Karl Barry Sharpless (Chemistry x2, 2001 and 2022) But you clearly listed that they were the same prize yourself. All of those other examples are Physics x2 or Chemistry x2. Curie is still the only person to win 2 different non-Peace prizes by your accounting. Another fun fact: Pierre Curie is Johann Bernoulli’s great-great-great-great-great-grandson. The Bernoullis were also a dynasty of like a dozen famous mathematicians and physicists.
I study math history, so when I learned that fact, my mind was blown! Additionally, Euler’s dad’s college roommate was Johann Bernoulli and Bernoulli personally wrote to Euler’s dad to convince him to let Euler study math instead of theology when Euler expressed interest. Though funnily enough, Bernoulli originally turned Euler down when he first asked Bernoulli to tutor him. Yea people in high level math tend to know each other. Turns out one of my PhD professors knew Fisher and turns out he is like the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this nicest guy! Imagine you’re at a family gathering and everyone looks down at you, because you’re the only one without a nobel price I have had that thought before, imagine being a well respected tenured professor at a prestigious with many high quality publications and massive amounts of grant funding, but being considered the slack of your family just because you are the one without a Nobel lol.
The lol was intended as a general levity at how many people in that family have Nobel Prizes. I study math for a reason, my grasp of language is passible at best. This fact about her body being radioactive and her notebooks being stored in lead boxes gets posted very frequently. Handling her notebook will give you an **annual** exposure of 0.010 mSv and hand exposure of 0.035 mSv. Annual limits for the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this public (not radiation workers) is 1 mSv per year and exposure of 50 mSv to the hands. Don’t eat it though as this would be bad. Yes, you would exceed your exposure limit but also you would be eating paper and destroying an artifact. She will decompose fairly normally. Most small things that decompose you aren’t that concerned by minor radiation loads. She’s probably still skeletal, though, as humans don’t disintegrate to dust generally unless in soil conditions that’s cause that. Theres a reason we can exhume medieval skeletons nearly a millennium later Worth noting here that when she was exhumed, to have her body reinterred in the Panthéon, in 1995 (over 60 years after being initially buried) her body was still “well preserved” and her “face was recognisable” according to the report at the time. Although that’s probably largely down to the up to 360Bq/m3 from the radon filled air in the original coffin. Burial conditions and the quality of the undertaker probably had a lot more to do with it than the radiation. Lincoln’s body was exhumed forty years after he was buried and apparently he was also very recognizable, although his skin had darkened and his suit had gotten a bit mildewed. Henry VIII’s last wife Catherine Parr was accidentally exhumed 250 years after her death and apparently also looked quite good considering everything. (Of course, after the coffin was opened they didn’t know WTF to do about preserving anything and she looked considerably less good by the time she was reburied.) If we drink the black sludge we will learn their secrets. Give us the black sludge. The people want the black sludge.
Although their mutation rate has been kicked into overdrive, so there’s probably some unique bacterial strains in there. Lol now that would be a good one. Having to fight Curie at the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this end of a quest in fallout as a legendary feral ghoul with massive rads. Because if we live in fear of radiation we can’t do anything. Way too many people see radiation as the boogieman. You will get 10microSievert if you have the books around you unshielded for a year. If you are worried about 10microSieverts, better not go to the dentist, two dental X-rays will give you the same dose. Hell, better not even leave your home since that is how much radiation you get per day being outside from the sun. I guess my takeaway from this is that I should get more dental X-rays. Does that factor in the protection from the lead vest? I would imagine. I also think the led vest is a bit of a placebo effect. The x-ray beam is fairly focused and is going nowhere near your chest. It could also be a carry over from when the x-ray machines were less precise and used a broader beam. One of the scientists who transferred her remains from the cemetery to the Pantheon wrote an extremely detailed account on his blog, in French, as well as a paper in English. At 9 am, the lead coffin was opened. Inside was neither a skeleton nor dust. Marie Curie’s body was well preserved. Her face was recognizable. Examination of her hands, said to bear scars from exposure to radiation, revealed no marks. Stems and petals of roses that had been placed upon her body were still there, blackened but visible.
The exhumation of Pierre Curie followed. […] However, only a few bones, humerus and fragments of tibia and pelvis, and dust remained. From my limited knowledge of death, I guess you’d want the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this sarcophagus to be sealed air tight and lead doesn’t decompose in the foreseeable future, so… I guess she really did not decompose all that much yet. Lead lined does not mean air tight. Also small organisms handle radiation exposure differently. There’s levels to gamma radiation exposure, usually the least severe is increased cancer risk, which doesn’t deter bugs and bacteria. At best she will be mummified, if the microbes that do most of the decomposition are unable to survive. If they do survive for very long, she will be reduced to a skeleton and undigestable matter like hair and fingernails.
Not sure if its still around but there was a cool info graphic that explained most common radiation sources in bananas. So you are not supposed to go past 5 x-rays per year and these guys are hitting up way more than that in a single ct scan? Nobody said CTs are risk free. There are definitely people who have cancer who would not have it without receiving medical imaging like CT scans. Of course we’ll never know which exposure was the Dundee Stars x 2025 Elite Hockey shirt so you should to go to store and get this final straw, but it’s all about cumulative risk and probabilities over time. Live long enough and you’ll probably get cancer anyway, with normal lifetime radiation exposure. The main issue is that they’re contaminated with radioactive material, like uranium salts, and not really radioactive themselves. It’s a bit different from just handling something marginally radioactive. All that stuff can and will get on your hands and be ingested.
