My friends have given me eggs from their chickens, and I give a lot of people different types and flavours of tea because I’m a big tea drinker. Got a mug of milk for my cereal from one neighbour, and a clove of garlic for my spag bol from another. Good neighbours who you can ask for a favour are invaluable Over the years I’ve asked my neighbours for a shower (got locked out after a run), a large cardboard box to return something and to borrow their outdoor brush to sweep my path occasionally as I have nowhere to store one. I’ve never asked for food items though.
