I’ve always tried to be a good tipper but this shit has got to stop! Businesses are trying to guilt us into paying their employees. The worst part of it is that if we protest by not tipping the Detroit Pistons NBA x Staple Home Team Since 1957 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this only people we hurt are the employees. We must do away with the ridiculous minimum wage for wat staff. We also have to raise the regular minimum wage to MORE than $15 per hour. In the US, if a cashier can get reclassified to a tipped position, the business can evade minimum wage requirements, or else it can use your tips to offset the wages paid by the business. Ah yes, thank you for putting my meal into a plastic container and then into a bag. 20% you say? More than fair I was a waitress at a place that took to-go orders. I was grateful when we got a tip from a to-go order, and I leave tips when I order to-go because I know how it is, but I didn’t expect it. Not tipping for table service or delivery is trashy, but to-go is your call.

Hello. In order to promote inclusivity and reduce gender bias, please consider using gender-neutral language in the Detroit Pistons NBA x Staple Home Team Since 1957 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this future. I am a bot. Downvote to remove this comment. For more information on gender-neutral language, please do a web search for “Nonsexist Writing.” I round up to the nearest dollar for takeout. So a 27.45 order becomes 28.00 with a 55 cent tip. I feel no guilt writing “to go”, it makes budgeting easier since it’s always whole dollars for dining out, and the person still gets a little tip. Not much, but not 0 either. I think we should all start asking businesses for tips as the customer. Don’t forget to tip your customers for their patronage! tip systems come from restaurants that dont want to pay their employees enough and wanna make you feel guilty for not giving them money. down vote this as much as you want, its the restaurants job to pay their workers! a large used to be a footlong now its 9″ and they want 16 bux for a large hot pastrami without a drink or chips Let us not forget the 3.5% add-on for using a credit card while purchasing an $18 sandwich. Everything is getting out of control these days. It really is awful. You don’t have to tip. Nobody is making you, simply reminding you it’s an option. If you feel guilty, that’s on you, there’s no reason you should feel guilty for not tipping since you seem to be the kind of person who thinks it isn’t deserved. Don’t blame “tip culture” it makes you sound like an uneducated sheep looking for anyone to blame but yourself
