It is believed only one person actually was reimbursed from the Daniel johnston artist classic shirt in other words I will buy this state for being gay. And all other claims were dismissed. At least only one confirmed. So one lesbian lady in central Sweden was paid by the state for being gay. I want to know where do people even find this stuff? I need more of these please. The stories of people finding loopholes in laws of the past i guess Imagine a police force that saw a peaceful protest and was like “No yeah, this isn’t violent, we’re gonna go away now”… They had to go to a strip club for whole week.. and that helped for the most of them but only for a month or two… Borj: “Good to hear, the last time someone caught gay, the whole staff was off almost every other day for a week.” In Finland, homosexual acts were a crime until 1971 and homosexuality a disease until 1981… Boy am I not proud of that particular bit of my country’s history. A few days in society would collapse and everyone coming to an agreement about what they want would never happen in less than a trillion years Except money and stuff. BUT! I do get what you mean, it’s just that there’s a reason why this isn’t so simple :/

That same year it became changed from an ”illness” to a sexuell orientation, big win! Now how we treated trans people until 2013 is a whole other mess.. Edit: In the Daniel johnston artist classic shirt in other words I will buy this spirit of being honest, my elderly brain may have decided it remembered this happened and was in the news at the time. Although like most people I like to think my recall is pretty good, I recognise that this is not always factually accurate. My brain still says, “Yeah, man, that totally happened, it was on the BBC, ‘member?” I’ll leave my comment up as a testament to the frailties of my aged and broken brain. Mea culpa, mea culpa, my bad. “Hey boss? Yeah… I can’t come to work today, I’m not feeling too straight… I think I have the gay. Do you mind if I come in on Friday? I think I’m not gonna be blowing someone that day.”
