If the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this insane Alabama republicans go this far, why aren’t they calling for funerals every time a women has her period? I sure am glad that clueless morons get to tell me how biology and medicine work. Guess I wasted all those years going to med school So…. say the doctors move their practice to another state…. are they kidnapping children if they take the bottles? Do they turn off the freezers? I wanna go back to Dixie Take me back to dear ol’ Dixie That’s the only li’l ol’ place for li’l ol’ me Ol’ times there are not forgotten Whuppin’ slaves and sellin’ cotton And waitin’ for the Robert E. The ethics ramifications are severe. This now eliminates the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this option of preimplantation genetic diagnosis, currently the best way for carriers to avoid giving birth to children with severe genetic defects. IVF practices that would like to shut down and/or leave the state are currently stuck with custody of a freezer full of “children” – what happens when their legal parents cannot or will not make arrangements for them? In Alabama’s embrace, frozen embryo dreams, IVF journeys weave intricate streams. Hope preserved in icy time’s symphony, A tale of conception, in the Southern melody. Well then the state should takeover maintaining the viability of those embryos. And the state should pay for this service for all women that would have otherwise sought abortions. Let them freeze the embryos on the governments dime. I see a massive class action lawsuit,if you need a Social Security number then you should have the right if your embryo is a child and children have rights,so if your embryo is a child all the rights become protected. Alabama set a standard of life you can’t pick or choose when it becomes life. So if you have 5 embryos thats five dependents five social security numbers and all the rights applicable if not than your just Ohio and thats some
Are they saying those are all murders now too? You stick a sperm in an egg and leave it in a test tube and it dies, that’s fine, drop the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this test tube on the floor and it dies, that’s infanticide? I swear, Alabama, Louisiana, and Florida compete to be the dumbest fucking states. Not saying there aren’t other states competing it just feels like they aren’t trying as hard. This violates my religious freedom. My religion tells me we can use whatever technology we have available to conceive. Can’t wait to hear about people leaving their babies in a freezing vehicle and claiming they’re just frozen embryos I feel so sorry for families who are trying to get pregnant and start a family, and these worthless Christian Nationalist scum are ruining their lives and costing them thousands…and in the process probably killing embryos Lol ohhh yea and pizza is a vegetable according to the bibleThe first amendment makes these rulings unconstitutional as they are strictly Christian views from Christian politicians who don’t even practice Christianity to its expected lifestyle. They won’t let other religious ideals become laws that interfere with their ideals. They can’t even understand their own scripture. Theologians interpret scripture for church services. I wonder if church goers would let random politicians give sermons every Sunday.

The Bill of Rights says a human being cannot be deprived of “life, liberty, or property” by any state. If the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this frozen embryos are truly children in the eyes of the law of Alabama, is Alabama not depriving those embryos of life by keeping them from being implanted and born? Are they not depriving them of liberty by keeping them in a frozen embryo state, in which no decisions can be made by those embryos? Are they not depriving the embryos of property, as an embryo cannot legally own anything? This is clearly not only an ethically and morally wrong decision, it has tremendous potential legal implications. Could the guardians of those children sue the government of Alabama in a class-action lawsuit for this deprivation of these enshrined rights? Is keeping these “children” frozen cruel and unusual punishment under the law, or would thawing them be? I assume keeping children frozen would be child abuse under the previous laws. If they’re thawed, would that be murder? If they’re kept from being implanted, would that be considered the government kidnapping them from the potential parents?
Ultimately, just like with almost all government impropriety, the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this tax-payers are likely to foot the bill on this one. And when taxes go up, you know who they’ll blame: Democrats. Cool so can I claim my embryos on my taxes? I figure after a few years I’ll have enough in tax returns to afford surrogacy now. I went through a divorce during IVF and we had the embryos destroyed. Were we supposed to keep them on I’ve indefinitely when we had no intention of using them? They’re not children. They’re not even visible to the naked eye. It’s a lump of cells. It’s a slippery slope to saying that all embryos are children and start throwing women in jail for murder every month. Charge parents with murder if they have disposed of embryos in the past. Charge people with child abuse because they’re keeping children from growing and also in a freezer. Just keep pushing it to lawsuits and jury trials until the state legal system breaks down and they have to walk it all back. Wonder if the adoption rate will go up. The birth rate of unwanted children will and I have a feeling the foster care system in Talibama ain’t great. But no one cares about those kids or ensuring a good future for them. I’m in Texas myself. Not a great place to be if you’re of childbearing age. I’m seeing this story pop up everywhere. But I don’t understand why this stops IVF. Isn’t the whole point of IVF to turn frozen embryos into children?
Because not all embryos get implanted. And some don’t successfully implant. And some can be lost in the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this process. And hospitals could be charged as a result of any of those situations. Many eggs are retrieved at one time. You often get more embryos than you need, and I think the worry revolves around what to do with the unused ones – if they are considered children, they can no longer be destroyed. No lab can keep a ton of embryos frozen forever. Case law from 1872, plus other rulings in the 20 teens, caused them to properly rule that the answer is yes. This is called being judges that don’t legislate from the bench–they went on history, tradition, and law. It was a very simple case. Answer: The legislature needs to do their job. It’s the job of the legislature, not the courts, to make adjustments when judges, doing their jobs, create such tension. The legislature of Alabama will get pressured, will pass a law that reduces liability for IVF providers. And they’ll do it quickly. Because their wives will tell them to. Or else.
Instead of couple going to get STD tests together, they ought to go get fertility tests together to see whether they’re both fertile IVF works in batches. There are failures in the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this process so you develop multiple embryos so one is ultimately successful. If that happens, what do you do with the remaining frozen ones? What are the legal ethical ramifications of creating people in a lab? What happens if someone accidentally turns off the power and destroys the embryos? The liability of keeping hundreds of embryos viable during power outages etc. must be absolutely astronomical. No clinic is gonna want to face a thousand murder charges because the grid went down. Zero. The place for news articles about current events in the United States and the rest of the world. Discuss it all here.

Extreme or repeat offenders will be banned. Back to TopThink of all the wealthy and affluent residents the GOP just pissed off. MDs, couple using IVF, and their parents who want grand babies!! Did they want to put the frozen embryos to work flipping burgers at McDonald’s or hosing down a chicken factory? I got to know what group or person made this into something for the courts to review? The general public needs to know. I am pro-choice but isn’t this consistent with their position that life begins at conception? I’m curious if the people that are opposed to this are also anti-abortion? I’m so confused. Do they want people to have kids or not? People who don’t want a baby have no choice, but people who are struggling to have a baby naturally and pay thousands of dollars to do IVF because they are prepared, excited, and want nothing more than a kid are no longer allowed?? How does this make sense “For that matter, all masturbatory emissions, where his sperm was clearly not seeking an egg, could be termed reckless abandonment.” – Elle Woods
I will rather get my medical advice and knowledge from a group of people who spent years understanding the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this human body . not someone elected through series of back door deals .
lol, don’t listen to this advice. Dude needs a job, not to have a couple hundred dollars less in his pockets after a consultation tells him he’s SOL. My initial consultation with an employment attorney was free and they basically just spelled out whether it was something worth pursuing. OP contact your state bar and they will refer you. Doesn’t hurt to try Tell them you submitted on the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this 19th, and you can’t be held responsible for the inaccuracies of the calendar you used. This is quite odd as these sorts of issues are common. It’s odd they would not give you the option to still take the offer. HR fucked up with their emails and unfortunately you fucked up by not reading the letter and double checking ….. I’d contact the person you interviewed with, if not the HR, explain, the misunderstanding and try to correct it. It must feel really upsetting, I hope you can sort it out You dodged a bullet. It’s not worth working for any company with such blatant mistakes while they still double down on stupidity. Let them know that you are accepting the job offer and that per the email you have until the 23rd. Then call up a lawyer get a free consult and see if they will draft a letter in the event that your acceptance gets rejected Weird. Whenever someone has offered me a job I was interested in, I always accepted it. What’s this “5 days to think about it” nonsense? 24 hours is more than enough, or 48 hours if you want to be exceptionally generous.
Had the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this same thing happen when I was a kid applying to jobs. This was before I had a cell phone. I gave out resumes and my mom got a call back from the movie theatres saying I had an interview for Friday. I show up and they said it was on Wednesday and they’ve now hired someone for it lol. In this case it was my mom who got the dates wrong lol if this is real – i don’t get why you wouldn’t immediately accept the offer if you “really wanted this job.” not like you couldn’t back out after accepting if something did come up and made you change your mind. hell you could even keep job hunting until your start date I think you dodged a bullet. If that’s how they run the show where nothing is their fault and blame it on the system etc etc… wait till they blame you for everything as a new hire. I honestly can’t believe how one-sided these comments are. I think getting 5 days is a very generous amount of time. I am employing people and if they would not have made up their minds in 5 days, I would see that as a major red flag towards their interest in the position and the company.
Own up to the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this fact, that you very likely sent signals that this wasn’t your first priority and that you would drop this at the slightest opportunity to improve. I’m not saying that isn’t fair, not at all, you do you. But don’t expect them to love you conditionally if you are clearly indifferent to this vs another job. As a hiring manager who deals with infuriatingly incompetent HR people: if this is someone in HR and not directly from the hiring manager, PLEASE let the hiring manager know. They might still be able to fix it. I have lost several good candidates over the years because of HR’s incompetence. I don’t get why people really want to wait and see if they can get a better offer if they really need the job. is that couple euros really worth losing out on both opportunities? xD That HR department is waiting for the acceptance so they start with the process of getting all the paperwork done before the start date. You dont even bother to open the acceptance letter and read it, you waste their time, your hiring manager starts doubting you from the get go… and now you are basically begging them for the job.
If you had bothered to click on the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this link in the email (that you got from this job you really wanted) you would have seen the actual date like this HR guy is telling you. Post this on LinkedIn and company leadership that you find. Probably won’t help you get the job, but will get your point across fast The short answers and absolute contempt for your situation is palpable. I have a feeling they had a better offer to someone that was accepted sooner and needed a “reason” to rescind. This ultimately worked in your favor because, again, shitshow. If they can’t even do a simple thing like that correctly and not own up to their mistakes, mayhaps you dodged a bullet. I’m sorry, goodluck on your search. I hope you find a job that’s truly right for you
If you really needed a job you should’ve accepted right away especially if you weren’t sure about other jobs fuck burning bridges take the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this job security, feels bad tho hope tho other jobs extend an offer and you accept this time So many comments on here so you’ll probably not see this but our recruitment system does this kind of thing and we can’t do anything about it when we try to overrule the rules it’s programmed for. Literally “computer says no” and we could lose a good applicant and all we can say is look out for future posts (to go through the whole thing again). Though to be honest I’m not a fan of emails so I’d rather call the applicant and explain this kind of thing! It’s decency. One – don’t work there anyway. Two – I’m no lawyer but you could probably hold them to the email in a court of law (it is in writing after all). Hope you didn’t burn any bridges.
I’m sorry for this, i imagine you are probably already a bit down because of this so posting here wasn’t a good idea as you are just going to be asked why you didn’t do this and that when it might be too late . Hopefully they reconsidered or you hear back from the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this other ones. I know this pain and one can’t always do things perfectly. Might be a good idea to consult an employment lawyer. Even if you don’t get the job, it might be possible to get some sort of compensation. This is pretty inexcusable, but I don’t know enough about the law to understand if any laws were broken. Unfortunately I rather not because I have friends in low-level positions there, I will say it’s not a mega Corp like Amazon or Walmart but it’s still a sizable national shipping corporation And what would that affect clown? They aren’t losing their jobs because you give out the company name. They won’t even know you’re the one who gave it out. All this sounds like is you making up bs to push the blame onto the company for your own mistakes.
If you’d “taken the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this time to read over the job offer” in the 5 days you’ve had this email, you would have seen what it says… This is your fault, you’ve proven to them that you don’t actually care about the job enough to respond quickly. I would rescind the offer too. Post that as a review to the business stating your displeasure with the lack of effective communication and professionalism. I would try to contact the hiring manager on this one and explain the confusion. This is most likely the HR being massive idiots. The hiring manager chose you because they want you, they will still want you if they know their HR gave you stupid instructions. If not then move on because everyone at that company is a fucking dumbass.
Look up detrimental reliance. Depending on the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this particulars, there is potentially a well blazed avenue for suit open to you. well, if I am reading this information correctly, you received the offer (at least) 5 days ago. They want an answer by the end of this week. That honestly seems like plenty of time to me dude. Sucks but who knows what else they would be throwing up their hands at. They offer one rate and rescind. Oh sorry but system put that rate in. Not me so oh well. The fact that they blamed it on the system instead of just owning the discrepancy shows that they would be a nightmare to work for, even if it were an auto-generated email. They have no accountability, I wouldn’t hire someone like that nor work for them.
Really want the Commanders 2025 NFC Wild Card Winners Washington Commanders Beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23 20 Mascot Jan 12, 2025 Shirt Furthermore, I will do this job but didnt take it? Idk. You have your right to take the time but it doesnt make sense to wait if you really wanted it I find it weird that you didn’t even open the offer letter, why? I would have opened it rebut away and would have been pondering over it. Their response is definitely not up to the standard. While I understand the importance of this job to you, considering their reaction and the way they handled the entire situation, I believe you’re better off elsewhere. 238 more repliesIt sounds like neither party is committed to this job. OP is playing this offer off against other potential offers in the hope a better one comes along, which is their prerogative. The company – probably cottoning on to OP since it has been 5 days – has decided it’s not worth it, maybe they have other candidates who are ready to go, and they have used their prerogative and withdraw their offer at their earliest opportunity by way of response, despite knowing they made a typo here. I guess if you are going to play a game of chicken with a company then this one clearly isn’t interested. The next one may really want you OP and be more apologetic for their error, especially if they have made a mistake. But that’s the risk you take by passively negotiating with other offers. But neither of you were 100% committed to this offer and each of you are annoyed at the other party for that.
