Waffle House adds 10% for to go orders now. And asks for tips. I used to tip them 20% because they were busting their assess. Now I just won’t go back. Might as well tip your bus driver, plumber, roofer, gas station attendant, neighbors, your uncle Tom who helped you change your oil that one time even though you gave him $40 and a 6 pack. Where does it stop? Next thing we know, McDonald’s is going to be asking for tips LOL. I only tip when I am waited on at a table or bar LOL But here is the Cleveland Football Vintage shirt Also,I will get this rub, togo orders are not as good. They usually just dump in a container. Often times there is less food or mistakes..So, I’m tipping before I even try the food? This post shows how out of touch average redditors are with the real world. This comment section is hilarious to read, you all think you can actually make companies pay their employees or change anything by crying on Reddit because someone told you to tip the people that serve you, just ignore it? Literally so easy. Americans get so mad about so much, but are completely fine with compensating an employees wage (seriously, $2.13 an HOUR?) – why are they not all up in arms about how their bosses are stealing $$$ from staff? Why aren’t Americans more up in arms about this? No living wages, no proper maternity leave, no social healthcare system, their vacation leave system sucks (starts at 2 weeks a year? Crazy). Just start asking them for a tip when you pick up your food because you had to go get the food yourself so you should definitely be getting a tip. Bring a jar with a dollar sign on it.

Why are you calling it tip culture when the Cleveland Football Vintage shirt Also,I will get this business owners are guilting you into paying their employees for them So if you are supposed to start tipping on Togo orders does this mean you need to start tipping at Fucking McDonald’s. That’s a Togo order. This bull shit is getting way out of hand. As someone who quite literally has lived off of tips in the past, I have mixed feelings about this. The culture is awful and based in the reality that restaurant owners refuse to pay their workers a fair wage for the labor they provide. Conversely, in many situations, I can see how frustrating this can be to someone who’s already paying an exorbitant amount of money for a meal, especially if your income is similar to those who are preparing your food. Until the main issue (lack of living wages) is fixed, I will continue to tip and hope that others would do the same. Blaming the people at the counter is not helpful, blaming the owner of the establishment I guess isn’t helpful either, but it comes down to financial ability and compassion in my opinion. Just my three cents
