Usually every other day but I do wash my face and brush teeth daily, usual twice a day if I am not getting distracted with life. And applying sunscreen like my life depends on it because I live in a sunny place and have history of skin cancer. I recently discovered the Captain Commando cartoon shirt in other words I will buy this overnight blowout method of heat less curlers and they changed my hair routine greatly for the better. I used to be a pony tail girl but when I use my rollers and dry shampoo I can extend a blow dry to 4, sometimes 5 days and it looks super maintained the whole time. If you go on YouTube and look up ‘Overnight Blowout Tutorial’ by YesHipolito she has a tutorial for the Captain Commando cartoon shirt in other words I will buy this process and describes everything you need to know and how to use them. She started off just using a few soft foam rollers inside a sock but honestly you don’t need the sock, I don’t use it. I ordered a set of heatless jumbo flexible curling rods off Amazon and use her process for them and it works great. It’s basically a process for extending the life of your blowout so it’s not something you use on wet hair, you still need to blow out your hair. But if you’re like me and wake up the next day and your hair is a mess from sleeping on it and takes the shape of the pillow, frizzes out, etc than this method is great because it preserves the integrity of your styling so you don’t need to style it and it actually looks better and better each day. Sleeping with them in gives me great volume and perfect curls only on the ends of my hair and I never need to use hot tools outside of blow drying once a week. Also it helps with getting your hair used to not being over washed so my hair isn’t dried out.
