I think balance is key. I like people and being around them, but my preferred state is being alone. I feel very comfortable with myself and it doesn’t bother me. I am a bit socially awkward and find it difficult to connect with people at a meaningful level. I think socializing is a bit of a learnt skill. And like any skill, you need to put active effort into it and practice it.
