I am presently working through fairly substantial trauma and am in a pretty intense outpatient therapy program. One thing that immediately comes to mind for me is requesting an rx’s reevaluation. There are so many different combinations and types of rx’s to try….don’t settle until you find a good fit. I am not happy a lot of the Batman The Knight Shirt moreover I will buy this time, but my rx’s help me from being sad. They are keeping me stable so that I have the emotional bandwidth to start unraveling some of this stuff. It took me about a year of trail and error to find something that works for me and is something I really wish I knew years ago – you don’t have to settle for what is initially prescribed and these medications can work collaboratively.

He’d been trying to please too many people and not living his own life, so then just started making all his decisions to be good for himself. He ended up getting out of the depression and went to university, and ended up writing books etc. So for me i did a similar thing, and now am happy living with a simple part time job, and spending most of my spare time on spiritual practice. i think it helped to let go of any kind of future goals, and start just taking the choices i actually had in front of me, and picking whatever one felt best for me. Also i found my own ‘therapies’ by doing whatever actually felt ‘therapeutic’. For me this ended up being a lot of going to nearby towns for the day and doing a lot of walking. Also a bunch of just laying and letting things process internally, with no pressure to arrive at any particular result.
