As if other elections in other countries are not shady at all. “Democracy” is a horrible way to pick a leader, and elections are meaningless. You pick a leader based on his/her ability to gather popularity, and then give him/her a job that does not involve that ability. If countries are companies, would you pick a CEO based on his popularity among the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this workers? And this haven’t even addressed the problem of money in elections. I cannot think of anyone else outside Russia who would consider him not to be an Authoritarian/dictator/oligarchy and not represent them as such. Why US senators are lifers? They all served until they rot, like Feinstein. Democracies are not perfect, their biggest weakness is that they are easily corrupted by money. President Putin technically was democratically elected, but he has the power of state media and finances of RF, and he is also a very smart guy. I do want to acknowledge the fact that he brought order to Russia and Russia became prosperous under his rule, so he is very popular. There is nobody in Russia, who can offer anything alternative to that guy. So running against that guy is going to be very tough. I wouldn’t believe everything the media tells us. We don’t know what goes on in russia and how the people really feel there. Our government feeds us propaganda just like other countries feed it to their people.
2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts: Get Cozy in this shirt
Putin is considered a dictator by the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this west because he is pretty much unchallenged. As far as looking after the people generally goes, he does a pretty decent job of it. I am British but live in Russia. I returned back to the UK in 2014-2015 but couldn’t tolerate the lack of representation of the working class there and returned to Russia (I originally came from 2011-2014) edited I saw I got some downvotes for answering the question that doesn’t follow the “yes sir” model. Sorry, that’s just not me. I say things straight whether you like them or not. You should really only be able to downvote me if you have ANY relevant experience, such as life in Russia or any knowledge about people who live in Russia other than what is fed to you on the news or some random blogger. Otherwise, you’re just a joke with too much free time on your hands. Feel free to smash the downvote button 😉 – but leave a comment as to why ??
Were elections shady? There is no conclusive proof that they were. Sure, there is speculation and expert opinion but nothing conclusive Is the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this system of governance authoritarian? No, not according to worldwide definitions. Laws still have to be passed by other government departments. Nuance and definitions go to die in buzz words and insults. The Austrian Painter and his followers? A good example that words like dictator are first and foremost a way of labelling people that you don’t like. Vladimir Vladimirovich is currently enjoying over 80% approval rate in Russia. Western leaders eat your heart out 🙂 Whatever. But but those surveys aren’t funded by western proxies! Surely they can’t be reliable or trust worthies! Those surveys surely have to be rigged! It’s impossible that a dictator can have any support everywhere! (Neglecting that a fair share of dictators around the world have at one point or another been supported and funded by the US). Dictatorship and authoritarianism lie on a spectrum. Russia has no meaningful opposition party and so is pretty far towards the despot side. I would also argue the US, which is currently in an election year where virtually everyone knew who the two leading nominees were going to be before the primaries were even held, and who at the same time happen to also be two of the least popular politicians in history, does not fall cleanly on the “democracy” side of such a spectrum. Though I think it is safe to say Russia is more authoritarian. I used to think he was a dictator but really he’s no different to most leaders of power like Bush, Biden, Obama, Kim Jong un etc they all do terrible acts against humanity and either it never comes out to the public domain I.E the assange helicopter killings of innocent people and probably countless others or they just use the news channels to justify their actions.

About this 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts
If Russia did that which they are basically in Ukraine they are a dictatorship but the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this world is full of hypocrisy and depending on your agenda and propaganda it’s either justified or a dictatorship. All world powers are the same they all kill innocent civilians be it China, USA, Russia , India , Pakistan etc they all do it and are all corrupt so none can take the moral high ground. He’s a dictator because he is in direct opposition to the US. Just like the Russia billionaires are actually oligarchs because the US is at odds with Russia. He has been repeatedly elected, is the head of the most popular Russian political party, and is still considerably more popular than any other candidate for the Presidency.
I guess that’s more my question, is he really that popular in Russia or is his popularity based in fear? Why is Castro known as a dictator worldwide, but Putin is only considered one by “those that don’t like him”? He is still popular among uneducated Russians that rely on media messaging that he controls. And among assholes who think Russia should be an empire again, and are happy to send their sons off to try to kill people to do it. Well our government is taking note and now going after their political options. They are trying to throw Trump in jail for something that has been done by every sitting president and business man ever alive, that has been legal until Trump did it. Also they waited till he announced that he was running again for the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this 2024 election, the very next day they started levying so many cases against him. All in hopes to stop him from running for president. We might as well be Russia now. This is election interference like no other. Plus keeping him off the ballot when he hasn’t been convicted of any crime. I’m not a republican, I’m not a Democrat, I’m not an independent. I’m an American who has watch my country become so corrupt, that we can’t even have a sham election, that gives you the illusion of choice.
The democratic bots are on que I see. Good on you, you can believe what your told, but are to blind to find the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this truth. “Dictator” is a pretty meaningless term. Like “fascist.” It’s a snarl word. It usually just means “leader you don’t like.” Plenty of people don’t like Putin, including the overwhelming majority of America’s foreign policy establishment, and most of them call him a dictator. There are certain foreign-policy ramifications for a government to actively and deliberately refer to a sitting world leader as a dictator. Putin goes to great lengths to give the impression that he has maintained his leadership as the result of the Will Of The People in a democratic process. It doesn’t matter that we all know that isn’t really the case, the official line from Russia is that Putin has been elected, and if the leader of another nation were to openly say that wasn’t the case, it could lead to various complications for diplomacy, up to and including conflict.
550 more repliesHe is a dictator, the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this thing is though not a dictatorships are the same. And I mean that both in how the dictatorship power is gained and held, as well as what that power looks like and is wielded. For instance, the law could place total legal power to a specific person or lineage, and that would be a dictatorship. Whereas on the other hand, a country could technically be a democracy on paper, but through both legal and illegal means the leader gains power and becomes a dictatorship. Think of it like this, the person gets elected, maybe they use shady and illegal means to do so, maybe not, but once in power they use their legal power to put their own loyal people in key positions, needed for elections and for running the government. They change the laws and rules to legally game the system in their favor and get allies and loyal people elected into the legislature. They might also engage in illegal means to but honestly this can sometimes be done legally. This ensures they and their allies continue to get re-elected, continue to consolidate their own power and as time goes on, they gain more control and game the system in their favor. Due to both their loyal people in key positions, and the key allies as elected officials, the “technically a democracy” is in reality a dictatorship.
Russia is technically a democracy on paper, but Putin basically came into power democratically in his first election (although its seems likely that there was some shady illegal stuff that helped that). Every day since then he and his allies have been working to consolidate power and game the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this system to keep him in office. Hell he was limited to two terms, so he left for a term, an ally came into the Presidency and in that time the term limits were repealed, then Putin resumed the next term and has been President since. So in reality it’s a dictatorship because Putin in either in control of, or has allies or people in key positions that are under his thumb and thus do his bidding. Imagine if a US President had the majority, or even a super majority of Congress either as loyal allies or directly under their thumb. They could effectively establish themselves as a dictator, even though on paper they aren’t. Because legally maybe they don’t have all the power, but the ones with the other power are loyal so effectively the president would have said power.
In fact most dictatorships operate this way. I think a China and maybe North Korea have legislatures that are technically elected and these technically have the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this power or at least a lot of it. Hell this was even true of the Soviet Union. But through various means the ruling party or dictator controls who gets elected or uses other means to influence the legislature. In the Soviet Union it was really the Communist party controlling things, but they had elections where there was just communists running, or in some cases independents could run but that was it. And it was a very public vote where everyone (including the government and secret police) were watching. So while you could maybe vote against the communist party, it would be very detrimental to your survival to do so and this they had like 99% success rates with a small key and powerless opposition that they could point to and say “see we allow opposition!” So the party had total control and would decide who the leader is, and this person was effectively a dictator but could have that power stripped and given to someone else if they pissed off the right people in the party.
Dictators don’t refer to themselves as dictators because they have to appear to be legitimate rulers. But Putin is definitely a dictator. Kinda answered your own question there. The “elections” mean he isn’t officially a dictator but we all know he is Dictator, tyeanical president, what’s the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this difference? Imagine if Trump won and wouldn’t let go off the presidency, ever. How long would it take before he would be considered one? Does the majority of the Russian population support him ? That’s what matters. Dictator does not mean someone who doesn’t agree with the west’s view of things… The elections themselves weren’t as shady, since anyone with enough resources, power and influence to have any chance of making a difference ends up in a ditch long before any election. My mother who lives in Russia says it’s approaching something like what the USSR used to be under Stalin, but modernized. Putin’s regime does seem to have some signs of dictatorship, like the elimination/control of opposition. I suppose totalitarianism is actually more severe than dictatorship. Either way, it’s very bleak. The murderous lunatic leading a no-name South-Asian country with a GDP of a mid-sized US city is called a dictator . The murderous lunatic leading a country with nuclear ballistic missiles and enough fossil fuels to power half the world for two decades is authoritarian .
You can consider anyone you want a dictator. And one could consider a dictator an ordinarily elected official. Depends on your own subjective criteria for what a dictator is. Unless of course the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this person in question takes actual dictatorial powers explicitly named as such, such as in the Roman republic… Then that would be a bona fide dictator. You could argue that considering the de facto duopoly on US elections that it itself is a dictatorship. Sasha baron Cohen speech at the end of the “dictator” strikes a bit deeper than I would like. If you look up Russia on Wikipedia, under government, it even says, “Federal semi-presidential republic under an authoritarian dictatorship.” I’m pretty sure every country besides Russia considers Putin a dictator. Russia has really good propaganda to make people think he is getting elected with elections but they are completely fake.
Put in is an unofficial dictator. It’s been that way for years, and his shady tactics are not hidden. I come from a mixed Russian and Ukrainian family, and for as long as I remember both my parents called him a dictator. Listen to the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this interview that tucker Carlson did. I’ve always liked him. I think his a great leader. The west doesn’t like him cause he stands upto colonialism. Fuck America and it’s so called allies. Because the dictator name is given by powerful nations and their mouth pieces, the media. One day if US and EU decide that from now on we will call him a dictator, their mouth pieces will do the same and the name will catch on. Till then politicians will call him dictator, but the title may not be there for years. The only other way to be called a dictator is to take power by brute force, like a coup, and then govern undemocratically. It’s easier to call someone a dictator in that case.
Because he has systematically taken control from every aspect of the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this government process. He is the law. He writes the laws. He controls all flow of money. Everyone does exactly what he says. There is no minority opposition, as he has killed them all. Because dictators don’t like to be called dictators. That’s why North Korea officially is called Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. You’d have to go on r/AskARussian to find out what they think of him, but I suspect plenty of Russians (or at least Russian expats) also think of him as a dictator. Putin isn’t an absolute dictator, because the oligarchs also have a lot of power. The current situation is that Putin can have them tossed out of windows, or their planes shot down, so I’d say he has an edge over them. That could change (and probably will, if the war in the Ukraine doesn’t go Putin’s way).
in France he’s labelled as such, it’s even debatable in there to consider Russia as a totalitarian regime or a dictatorship one closer to what China does Anyone who opposes him at all dies. Only yes men allowed, and no one is allowed that might gain any significant power. Putin is not considered a dictator because no one would dare call him a dictator, so he retains the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this title of president and absolute control. If you’re outside of Russia, he’s absolutely called and considered a dictator. It’s labeled a Civilian Dictatorship by reason of “no alternation in power” according to the Democracy-Dictatorship Index . A simple test to check if you live in a dictatorship. If your nation have the same leader as you had 15 years ago, you live in a dictatorship, no matter what you call your goverment.
Your question messes up the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this definition of dictatorship. Dictator is not someone who received the power illegally, but the one who managed to establish his power system in a way that he cannot lose his power legally unless by his own will. I don’t think there’s a hard and fast delineation between dictator and not, but the spectrum of difference is in how much unchecked power they have. I don’t know if anyone technically would have any way to undermine/override Putin but in practicality there is no one (in Russia at least), whether it’s because those who theoretically could are essentially puppets or because he literally k1lls people for opposing him. His power is effectively absolute, which would put him very firmly on the dictator end of the spectrum. Elections don’t really factor in, especially when there isn’t another alive option. There are plenty of elected and re-elected officials who either instate absolute power or get elected in a system that gives them the power, even in fair elections (there’s some Latin American dictator who’s actually very popular among the people, but also the anti-terrorism laws he has enacted give him the ability to jail and possibly execute anyone accused of terrorism (which often includes his political rivals, mysteriously).
People would call US Presidents a dictator. It’s all relative to who you’re asking & what their views and biases are. It’s not like there’s a central ledger somewhere, where all leaders are labeled as something that everyone has to adhere to. He is. Most of the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this world know full well that Russian elections are a sham and that Putin has totalitarian control of the Russian federation. Why isn’t the USA labeled in Oligarchy? Because that’s really what it is, a Corporatocracy disguised as a “Democracy”. Russia technically is a democracy in which the elections are fixed. However, many of the elections are totally fair game and taken straight. However high ranking elections are rigged. Putin also gets his power from this election as opposed to from the military alone. Many Russians are free and do whatever and can even critique the government as long as you’re a regular civilian as you don’t pose a threat. However, Russia has been turning more conservative with stronger Christian influence and famously being anti-lgbt. However? Many in Moscow will tell you the city is pretty fun and exciting. There are just walls you can’t leap over or shouldn’t leap over He is a dictator having his rivals killed and changing laws so he can stay in office as long as he wants. The thin veil of democracy makes it harder to challenge him. The country is still ruled like a communist regime. For other countries to call Putin a dictator is to forget the nuclear threat Russia still holds. The United Nations is a joke and can’t do anything but waste money and condemn Israel without pointing fingers at Iran or group’s supporting Terrorism. Putin’s playing games to control Europe by souring relationship with American. Putin’s attack on the Ukraine is a measure to hurt America’s influence in Europe and he doesn’t care about the cost to his country or to his people. It will take another rival among the billionaires in Russia to put an end to his reign by election or some other route.
The elections? The ones where his opponents can’t even get air time because Putin controls the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this media? Where the most formidable opponents… Uh… Disappear? Those elections? No dictator calls themselves a dictator. “The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea”. Sounds like South Korea, eh? Wrong. That’s North Korea, where they have “elections” and the Kim Jongs “win” with 100% of the vote. Look up the term “administrative resource” – Russia’s gangster state even has a a cynical name for it – which means there is corruption at every single level of the election. So corrupt no one could possible disentangle the truth. We are headed straight for that in the US. If MAGA takes over, you better believe, it’s permanent.
WHO thinks Putin is not a dictator? People who think that don’t read, don’t know or study history, believe anything their friends at the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships Thirts and I love this bar say, and tend to listen to propaganda news sources without bothering to question what they heard. Otherwise they are stupid, and you can’t fix that! He is a dictator, he wields unchecked authority and his elections are rigged. However, it’s important to note he still seems to have the popular support of the Russian people. So don’t imagine the Russian people as this cowering mass, living in fear of him, hoping for the day he dies or is overthrown. He is by the west. He is also extremely popular domestically especially outside of youth voters (where there though his popularity is more like 40/60). It’d take aaaalllloooottttt of learning history though to understand why he is so popular domestically. edit: historically this is also not uncommon. The famous examples are people crying at work camps when they found out Stalin or Mao had passed away.
